ShopKatalog is a marketplace platform that connects buyers with independent sellers. When you make a purchase through ShopKatalog, you are buying directly from an individual shop owner, not from ShopKatalog itself. All transactions are completed through the seller's preferred communication channel (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok).
2. Returns & Refunds for Product Purchases
2.1 Seller Responsibility
Each seller on ShopKatalog is responsible for their own return and refund policies. Before making a purchase, we encourage you to:
- Contact the seller directly to inquire about their return policy
- Ask about refund conditions and timeframes
- Clarify any questions about the product before purchasing
- Keep records of all communications with the seller
2.2 General Guidelines
While policies vary by seller, most sellers on ShopKatalog follow these general practices:
- Defective or Damaged Items: Sellers typically accept returns for items that arrive damaged or defective
- Wrong Items: If you receive the wrong item, contact the seller immediately for a replacement or refund
- Change of Mind: Return acceptance for change of mind varies by seller - confirm before purchasing
- Timeframe: Most sellers require return requests within 7-14 days of delivery
2.3 How to Request a Return
- Contact the seller through the same platform you used to purchase (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok)
- Provide your order details and reason for return
- Include photos if the item is damaged or defective
- Follow the seller's instructions for returning the item
- Keep the item in its original condition and packaging when possible
3. ShopKatalog's Role
As a platform provider, ShopKatalog does not process payments or handle physical products. Therefore:
- We cannot directly issue refunds for purchases made through sellers
- We do not hold or ship products on behalf of sellers
- Return shipping arrangements are made directly between buyer and seller
However, we are committed to maintaining a trustworthy marketplace. If you experience issues with a seller, please contact us and we will investigate the matter.
4. Dispute Resolution
If you are unable to resolve a return or refund issue directly with the seller:
- Document all communications with the seller
- Contact ShopKatalog support with details of your issue
- We will review the case and may take action against sellers who violate our marketplace policies
Actions may include warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal of sellers who engage in fraudulent practices or consistently fail to honor reasonable return requests.
5. ShopKatalog Subscription Refunds
For refunds related to ShopKatalog subscription payments (not product purchases from sellers):
- Free Trial: No payment is taken during the 30-day free trial period
- Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period
- Refund Requests: Subscription refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of payment for refund consideration
