Before creating your shop, make sure you have:

Your shop name decided
Contact information (WhatsApp, email, etc.)
Your shop logo (optional but recommended)
A brief description of your business

Step-by-Step Process

1. Access the Create Shop Page

From your dashboard, click the prominent "Create Shop" button. You'll be taken to the shop creation form.

2. Choose Your Shop Name

Your shop name should be:

Memorable: Easy to remember and spell
Relevant: Related to your products or niche
Professional: Avoid special characters
Unique: Different from competitors

"Tech Haven Store"
"Organic Beauty Shop"

3. Select Your Subdomain

Your subdomain creates your shop URL: yourshop.shopkatalog.com

Subdomain requirements:

3-30 characters long
Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
Must start with a letter
Cannot end with a hyphen
Must be unique (not taken by another shop)

4. Write Your Shop Description

Your description appears on your shop homepage. Include:

What you sell
Your unique selling point
Your location/service area (if relevant)
Any special offers or guarantees

5. Add Contact Information

Provide at least one contact method:

WhatsApp: Your business WhatsApp number
Email: Customer service email
Phone: Business phone number
Instagram: Your Instagram handle
Facebook: Facebook page URL
TikTok: TikTok username
