Browser Settings & Configuration

Enable JavaScript

Why: JavaScript is essential for ShopKatalog to function. Most browsers have it enabled by default.

Chrome & Edge:

  1. Click the lock icon in the address bar
  2. Click "Site settings"
  3. Find "JavaScript" and set to "Allowed"

Firefox:

  1. Type "about:config" in address bar
  2. Search for "javascript.enabled"
  3. Make sure it's set to "true"

Safari:

  1. Go to Safari β†’ Preferences
  2. Click "Security" tab
  3. Make sure "Enable JavaScript" is checked

Enable Cookies

Why: Cookies are needed for login sessions and remembering your preferences.

  • Cookies are enabled by default in all modern browsers
  • If you disabled them, re-enable them
  • You don't need to "Allow all" but allow functional/session cookies
  • Clear cookies only if you have problems

Disable Problematic Extensions

  • Ad Blockers: May block images or interactive elements. Disable for ShopKatalog.
  • Popup Blockers: May prevent checkout redirects. Allow popups for ShopKatalog.
  • Content Security Extensions: May block functionality. Disable if issues occur.
  • Password Managers: Usually fine but can occasionally cause issues. Try disabling if problems.
  • VPN Extensions: Can slow down browsing. Disable when not needed.

Site Not Loading

Solutions:
